Tredinnick’s Car Parking Charges Bill Set for Second Reading

Today, ahead of the Second Reading of his Parking Places (Variation of Charges) Private Member’s Bill on Friday, David Tredinnick MP took part in a Parliamentary Debate on Car Parking Charges.

The Bill, which is aimed at boosting local high streets, to be introduced by the Bosworth MP on Friday Bill would enable local councils to reduce parking charges without the need to give 21 days’ notice. The proposed changes will also make it harder for local authorities to increase fees by requiring councils to consult with interested parties and stakeholders first.

Tredinnick Backs British Farming

Bosworth MP David Tredinnick has pledged to back Britain’s farmers during the annual general meeting of the NFU’s Market Bosworth Branch today.
